The church is not like the common people in respect to the relationship between the government and its citizens. Paul gives clear points on what should be our relationship to our government.
The life of John the Baptist gives us a better image of what the Christian should do in relation to the political climate. We are not to specifically claim affiliation to a political party, we are not to give our absolute trust in a specific side of the discourse, but instead we are to hold those who are above us in authority to the standard in which the scriptures hold them to.

One of the most neglected areas of our church life is the job to prepare disciples sufficiently. However, one of the areas of discipleship that has been neglected is, interpreting and translating. I argue that we must go back to the biblical principle of making disciples of all the nations.
